Safety Manager / Lead Safety Professional Pittsburgh Area, PA | OnPoint Industrial ServicesOnPoint Industrial Services is seeking experienced Safety Professionals to support a large-scale construction project in the Pittsburgh area. This is a long-term opportunity with multiple positions expected to become available throughout the project.
Position Details- Location: Pittsburgh Area, PA
- Start Date: November 9, 2026
- Project Duration: Approximately 12 months
- Schedule: 6 days / 10-hour shifts
- Employment: Full-time, W-2
- Overtime: Paid after 40 hours
- Multiple Positions Available
Requirements- CHST or other BCSP certification required
- OSHA 500 required
- Safety experience in construction,industrial, or MEP environments preferred
- Experience supporting subcontractors and multiple trades
- Strong understanding of high-risk construction activities
- GSP or Safety Degree preferred
Preferred Training & Experience- First Aid / CPR / AED
- Narcan
- Bloodborne Pathogens
- Emergency Procedures
- NFPA 70E
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Mental Health First Aid
- Experience with electrical/MEP safety requirements
NFPA 70E and LOTO experience is required for applicable MEP scopes and work requiring LOTO.Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day safety oversight on a large-scale data center construction project
- Support subcontractor safety program execution
- Coordinate with field safety personnel and project leadership
- Monitor subcontractor and sub-tier safety compliance
- Conduct jobsite inspections, audits, and safety observations
- Assist with high-risk activity planning
- Support craft safety training and safety administration
- Monitor work conditions and identify potential hazards
- Assist with incident management, investigations, and corrective actions
- Support emergency procedures and project safety requirements
