Overview
Join our Life Sciences Industry & Enterprise practice to help leading pharma, biotech, and medtech clients define commercial strategy and reinvent how commercial work gets done. This role focuses on supporting strategy work acrossasset / brand strategy, launch, portfolio growth, market access, patient services, functional transformation, operating model, process redesign, and AI/data-enabled reinvention.
What would you do?
As a Consultant, you will support client workstreams that help life sciences organizations make critical commercial decisions 64 from how to launch and grow assets to how to redesign functions and enterprise ways of working.
Your work could include:
Supporting asset / brand strategy, launch, portfolio growth, market access, patient services, and broader commercial strategy projects
Assessing market dynamics, customer needs, competitive landscapes, access considerations, and commercial growth opportunities
Supporting functional or enterprise reinvention work across operating model, process, governance, capability, and talent implications
Identifying where AI, analytics, automation, copilots, or agentic workflows can improve commercial decision-making or execution
Translating research, interviews, benchmarks, and data inputs into clear hypotheses, insights, and client-ready recommendations
In this role you will be expected to:
Understand client and project objectives and proactively ask clarifying questions at the onset of work
Own complex deliverables or workstream components from start to finish with limited guidance
Conduct independent primary and secondary research and synthesize findings into hypotheses
Apply life sciences commercial knowledge to connect asset, customer, access, functional, and enterprise implications
Use structured problem solving and storytelling to communicate insights clearly in client-ready materials
Build and apply strategy frameworks to break down ambiguous commercial questions and explore scenarios
Support development of value cases by sizing commercial opportunities, defining assumptions, analyzing value drivers, and translating evidence into clear implications for strategy decisions
Support AI/data-enabled strategy and reinvention work by defining use case objectives, workflow fit, required inputs, risks, and human-in-the-loop considerations
Support proactive commercial strategy / reinvention opportunities and proposals by shaping the client problem, strategic approach, workplan, and value story
Contribute to thought capital by developing reusable perspectives, frameworks, case examples, and market-facing points of view on priority commercial strategy topics
Manage up effectively, flag risks early, and support analysts or peers through coaching, feedback, and work product review

Who do we need?
We would love to hear from you if you have:
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of life sciences commercial experience across asset / brand strategy, launch, portfolio growth, marketing, medical, market access, patient services, field, or commercial ops / transformation topics
Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategy consulting, professional services, or an equivalent internal corporate-strategy role.
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to flex across asset-level strategy and functional / enterprise-level reinvention questions
Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to structure ambiguous questions, synthesize research, and translate findings into recommendations
Understanding of commercial strategy fundamentals such as market dynamics, customer behavior, access considerations, competitive positioning, value drivers, and launch / growth levers
Exposure to operating model, process redesign, governance, capability building, or transformation roadmap work
Working knowledge of AI/data concepts, including predictive analytics, GenAI, copilots, workflow automation, and agentic solutions
Comfort partnering with technology, analytics, AI, and platform teams while staying anchored in the business problem
Proactive mindset around innovative ways of working, including how AI, automation, copilots, and agentic workflows can improve productivity, quality, collaboration, and speed of execution for external project & internal Accenture work
Strong PowerPoint, Excel, written communication, storytelling, and client-facing presentation skills
