How you make a differenceThe MAT LVN Coordinator works under the direction of the RN MAT Coordinator to provide comprehensive clinical and support services for individuals enrolled in the MAT program. This role assists with patient care, wellness education, medication administration, injections, laboratory coordination, pharmacy coordination, and vital sign monitoring. The position supports both psychiatric and medical care by coordinating services with healthcare providers and helping ensure continuity of care. The MAT LVN Coordinator plays an important role in delivering clinical services and patient support in a correctional healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of individualized treatment programs under clinical supervision.
- Administer medications, obtain diagnostic tests, and provide clinical care in accordance with practitioner orders, policies, and protocols.
- Maintain controlled substance counts and ensure proper inventory tracking and documentation.
- Assist healthcare practitioners with medical procedures, patient education, and implementation of nutrition and therapeutic diet plans.
- Document patient care activities and communicate clinical information to healthcare team members and other appropriate personnel.
Additional Details$43.46 - $46.66 / hour
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Other substance abuse certification would be desirable though not required.
Experience
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
Licenses/Certifications
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
- Related certification may be applicable based on specific state requirements.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
