Full Job Description
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Mississippi

We have an opening for a Mississippi-licensed LPC to provide remote counseling on a full-time schedule. The position involves working with adults and/or adolescents who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or major changes in their personal lives. You will be responsible for your own appointments, clinical notes, and follow-up with clients throughout the course of care.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year
Work Setting: Remote/Telehealth

Typical work includes:
  • Meeting with clients through scheduled video sessions
  • Completing intake interviews and reviewing client history
  • Discussing the main concerns bringing clients to counseling
  • Helping clients work through emotional and behavioral issues
  • Recording session details and keeping files current
  • Following up on changes or concerns between visits
  • Referring clients for other services when needed
  • Following Mississippi licensing, privacy, and telehealth requirements

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Counseling or a related mental health field
  • Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Mississippi
  • At least 2 years of counseling experience preferred
  • Experience providing telehealth or virtual counseling is preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
  • Comfortable using online platforms and electronic health record systems
