Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) $115K-$120K

Location: South Dakota
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year + full benefits

Job Summary

We are hiring a Licensed Professional Counselor to provide ongoing behavioral health care through telehealth. In this role, you will meet with clients virtually, assess their needs, develop practical treatment plans, and provide counseling that supports progress over time.

Your workday will center on direct client care, clinical documentation, treatment planning, and follow-up. This is a fully remote opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule for an LPC who wants to continue practicing clinically without the daily commute.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct individual counseling sessions through a secure telehealth platform
  • Complete behavioral health assessments and gather relevant clinical history
  • Create and update individualized treatment plans based on client needs
  • Use appropriate therapeutic approaches to address emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns
  • Track client progress and adjust treatment when clinically appropriate
  • Complete progress notes and other required documentation accurately and on time
  • Identify safety concerns and follow established risk assessment and escalation procedures
  • Maintain client privacy and follow professional, ethical, and regulatory requirements

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Active and unrestricted LPC license in South Dakota
  • Appropriate independent clinical practice authority for the duties of the position
  • Previous experience providing counseling or psychotherapy in a behavioral health setting
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable providing care through telehealth technology
  • Able to manage a full-time caseload while keeping records current
