Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) -Women's Health / OB-GYN Full-Time | Day Shift | Queens, NY
Salary: $38.82/hr. - $45.21/hr. DOE + Benefits
Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, a leader in Women's Health and OB/GYN care, is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our outpatient ambulatory care team. This is not an entry-level or generalist position. Only candidates with prior outpatient Women's Health or OB/GYN experience will be considered.
What You'll Do - Provide hands-on nursing care for patients in Women's Health and OB/GYN settings
- Administer medications, perform EKGs, and collect specimens (POCT and phlebotomy)
- Document nursing observations, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the EMR
- Support OB/GYN providers during procedures, clinic visits, and screenings
- Educate patients on reproductive health, prenatal care, contraception, and disease prevention
- Serve as an integral member of a fast-paced, specialized outpatient care

Requirements - NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Minimum 2+ years outpatient experience in Women's Health/OB-GYN (LTC or med-surg only experience is not sufficient)
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Bilingual Spanish/English or Creole/English preferred
- Availability to work alternate weekends
Candidates without prior outpatient Women's Health experience will not be considered.
