Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Full-time | Overnight shift, Monday to Friday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

$37.75 to $42.75 per hour, based on experience

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with CMS, you'll oversee residents' self-medication program and monitor their overall health, working within City, State, and Federal regulations, CMS policies, and professional mental health standards. Your work helps residents stay healthy, safe, and independent.

What you'll do

  • Review each resident's health plan and monitor their ongoing health needs.
  • Develop and manage the self-administration of medication program for residents.
  • Keep accurate documentation of medication administration, verbal physician's orders, and individual self-medication plans.
  • Serve as the liaison between physicians and program staff.
  • Train residents and staff on hygiene, medication side effects, first aid, and nutrition.
  • Take part in treatment team meetings.

What you'll bring
  • A valid Pennsylvania LPN license.
  • Experience working with a mental health population, psychotropic medications, and substance use.

Schedule and requirements
  • Full-time, overnight. Monday to Friday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. No travel required.
  • This is an active role. You'll be on your feet, moving between floors, standing and sitting for extended periods, and frequently lifting or moving items over 20 pounds.
  • Before hire, all candidates must clear a Pennsylvania criminal history check, FBI clearance, and Child Abuse clearance.
