About the RoleHello, LPNs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support students in the Tacoma, Washington area. These positions involve providing individualized nursing care to students with a variety of medical needs throughout the school day. Specific responsibilities and schedules will vary by assignment.

What You'll Do- Provide nursing support to students during the school day
- Monitor students' health and respond appropriately to medical needs
- Follow individualized healthcare and emergency care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as assigned
- Collaborate with families, school staff, and healthcare providers
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Support students' safe participation in school activities
- Assist with transportation needs when required by the assignment
What We're Looking For- Active Washington State LPN license or qualifying multistate nursing license
- Experience supporting children with medical needs preferred
- Specialized nursing experience, such as tracheostomy or G-tube care, may be required for certain assignments
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting and background checks
- Reliable, attentive, and comfortable working in a school environment
