Job SummaryWe are hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide virtual therapy services to individuals seeking support for mental health and life challenges. The role involves working directly with clients through video sessions, helping them process concerns, set goals, and develop tools they can use outside of therapy.
This position requires strong clinical judgment, organized documentation, and the ability to build trust through virtual care. You will provide assessments, therapy, treatment planning, and ongoing progress monitoring in a structured remote environment.
Responsibilities- Provide therapy to clients through telehealth appointments
- Assess client needs, symptoms, strengths, and treatment goals
- Prepare and update treatment plans
- Use appropriate counseling methods based on each client's needs
- Help clients address anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, and stress
- Complete clinical notes and required documentation
- Review progress and make updates to care plans as needed
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and Florida licensing requirements
- Respond appropriately to clinical risk or safety concerns
Requirements- Master's degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Active LMHC license in Florida
- Experience providing therapy in a clinical, outpatient, private practice, or telehealth setting
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation and treatment planning
- Comfortable working with clients through video-based care
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
- Reliable internet connection and a private workspace
