Full Job Description
Position Summary:

Joining our clinical supervision team at Vida Guidance Center- Urban Health Plan's Article-31 Mental Health Clinic- we are seeking a dynamic new LCAT Supervisor (Licensed Creative Arts Therapist Supervisor). As the LCAT Clinical Supervisor within a given week, you will maintain a partial caseload of patients for 1-1 therapy for children, teens, adults and families and allocate partial time towards providing clinical supervision to therapists at the site, which includes part time and full time LCATs.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Art Therapy required.
  • NYS LCAT required.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is strongly preferred to best serve our patient populations.
  • 5 years of proven expertise in clinical therapy with the ability to clinically supervise other professionals (ideally around 1.5-2 years of experience engaging in clinical supervision of employees).
  • Strong familiarity with diagnoses, mental health treatment, and evident based modality.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance needs within ambulatory settings.


Key Duties:
  • Provides clinical supervision and support to staff
  • Ensures documentation compliance in accordance with OMH standards.
  • Supports team-based approach to assure highest delivery of care outcomes
  • Conducts case consultations and support staff development.
  • Collaborates with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care.
  • Maintains a partial caseload to provide direct clinical services/ 1-1 psychotherapy. Provides treatment for children, adolescents, adults and elderly.
  • Provides clinical consultation in an integrated health care environment regarding family interactions, socio-cultural determinants & community resources.

Starting Compensation:

Minimum $86,000 per year; Maximum $95,000 per year

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:

The position is hybrid - 4 day/week onsite, 1 day remote. Monday to Friday schedule in Bronx, NY for 35 regular hours per week. Must have flexibility to periodically work Saturday shifts on an as needed basis to cover for our Saturday supervisor.
