We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Licensed Clinical Social Worker to be part of the Rush University Medical Center's Social Work and Community Health (SWaCH) Department at the Rush West Side Mental Health Center!

What are some of the core values of the Social Work and Community Health Psychotherapy Team?
Patient-centered: We build therapeutic relationships grounded in trust, mutuality, and respect. We collaboratively identify therapeutic goals that are meaningful for our patients and develop a plan to best achieve those goals.
Strengths-based: The strengths of our patients, families, and communities at the center of the healing process.
Collaborative: We provide mental health services within the context of a large academic medical center and our community. To the extent that it is beneficial and empowering to our patients, we advocate for our patients and collaborate with other providers to make sure that the process of seeking care is as clear and empowering as possible.
Trauma-informed: Our therapists provide trauma-informed care and offer therapy from different theoretical, evidence-based approaches. By realizing the widespread and pervasive impact of trauma and potential paths to recovery, we are able to recognize signs and symptoms of trauma, integrate knowledge of trauma into our policies and practices, and seek to resist re-traumatization.

This position will join a welcoming and positive work environment with access to individual and group supervision, continuing education opportunities throughout the hospital system (supported by Rush Enhancement Funds), and SWaCH is an approved site for the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program (learn more at: www.nhsc.hrsa.gov/loan-repayment/nhsc-loan-repayment-program).
