Job Summary

In this role, you will provide therapy services to clients seeking support with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma-related concerns, relationship issues, and major life changes. You will guide clients through treatment goals, monitor progress, and help them build tools they can use outside of sessions.

Your work will require strong clinical judgment, careful documentation, and the ability to create a professional virtual counseling experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide remote mental health counseling through scheduled video sessions
  • Assess client needs and determine an appropriate treatment direction
  • Create individualized treatment plans and review them over time
  • Support clients as they work through personal, emotional, and behavioral concerns
  • Keep documentation current, accurate, and aligned with clinical standards
  • Maintain professional boundaries in a virtual care setting
  • Use secure systems for client sessions, records, and communication
  • Follow legal, ethical, and safety protocols for licensed counseling work

Requirements
  • Active Maryland LCPC license in good standing
  • Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
  • Experience providing therapy in outpatient, private practice, community mental health, or telehealth settings
  • Ability to work independently while managing a remote caseload
  • Strong written documentation and communication skills
  • Comfortable using electronic health records and telehealth tools
