We're searching for a Level of Care Designation Program Manager, someone who's ready to be part of the best ranked children's hospital in Texas, and among the best in the nation. In this position, you will manage and oversee daily clinical, administrative, and quality improvement activities for the designated clinical areas.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Conducts quality assurance/quality improvement activities.

Develops indicators of service quality and monitors performance against these indicators. Works with managers to design monitors, corrective action and (re) assessment strategies.

Reviews care provided and ensured QAPI plan is specific to care, is data driven and outcome based.

Directs collection of performance data and quarterly QA/QI reports.

Compiles data/information and reports for various committees, reporting agencies and state/regional initiatives.

Monitors and collects data re: the provision of maternal/neonatal care service from admission through discharge; to include telehealth utilization if applicable.

Acts as a clinical resource for nursing staff and ancillary personnel.

Participates in the collaborative development of educational programs to drive outcomes ensure

alignment with QAPI plan

Creates and facilitates collaboration and cooperation with Maternal and/or Neonatal program managers and Medical Directors, consulting physicians, and nursing leaders to achieve desired clinical outcomes and management of care across the continuum.

Prepare, manage, and coordinate action planning for survey readiness and reporting.

Skills & Requirements

Required bachelor's degree Nursing with a preferred master's degree Nursing, business, or healthcare related field

Required Licenses/Certifications

RN - Lic-Registered Nurses by the Texas Board of Nursing or Nursing Licensure Compact

BLS - Cert-Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association

NRP - Cert-Neonatal Resusci Prog by the American Academy of Pediatrics

Preferred Certification in specialty-specific area or nursing leadership, with completion of certification within 1 year of assuming the role

Required 2 years Registered nursing experience in clinical area (Inpatient OB or NICU)
