THE WORK

The selected candidate will be responsible for the end to end management, execution, and support for multiple contracts that support Lockheed Martin's automated test equipment organization. The role covers all aspects of program performance-cost, schedule, and technical-while integrating professionals from engineering, global sustainment, supply chain, operations, and other functional support areas. The incumbent must be able to integrate disparate data, drive appropriate processes, identify and manage issues/risks/opportunities, and develop corrective action paths as needed.

A primary focus of this position is to create, maintain, and leverage customer relationships with both internal (across LM) and external customers (U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force) and internal stakeholders. Understanding the differing priorities of these customer sets is essential for successful contract performance and for shaping future business opportunities. Decisions and actions taken on these programs will influence and impact multiple future contracts across the Lockheed Martin portfolio.

The Project Manager will establish the resources required for the team's success, direct the work of assigned employees, and ensure clear communication of challenges and opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders. Responsibilities include program execution activities, leading proposal development and kickoff activities, supporting baseline reviews, and coordinating enterprise performance and quality reviews. The role also supports the capture of new contracts, requiring a strategic mindset and prior proposal experience.
In addition to managing existing efforts, the project manager will lead internal IRAD and capital projects across test. Successful candidates must be responsible to communicate all pertinent items including challenges and opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders to ensure mission success.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to qualify for a Secret Clearance
• Demonstrated program management and customer interface experience as a Deputy PM, CAM, etc.
• Ability to lead and motivate a cross functional program team
• Ability to develop, create, and execute a strategy to grow new business opportunities including proposals
• Experience with cost, schedule, technical, and risk and opportunity management
• Experience troubleshooting and leading through program performance issues
• Ensuring products and services are compliant with contract requirements and meet or exceed customer expectations
• Demonstrated excellent team building and interpersonal skills, capable of relationship building with customers and employees at all levels and across multiple geographic locations
• Ability to travel on an as needed basis

Desired skills
• Experience working with other LM Business areas (LM Aero, LM MFC, and LM Space)
• Experience working across LM RMS Lines of Businesses (LOBs)
• Experience working development, production, and sustainment contracts
• Program Management Level 0 Certification or higher
• Automated Test Equipment programmatic experience
• Demonstrated proposal management experience
• An understanding of the principles and practice of Earned Value Management
• Ability to apply organizational, planning, management, problem solving, and execution skills in a multiple project environment
• Independent and critical thinker who can prioritize across functional lines and anticipate requirements to facilitate a seamless operation

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $128,400 - $222,640. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
