Join Our Team as an Electrician at Johnson Electric!

Location: Stratford, ON (onsite)
Salary Range: $42.21- $47.24 per hour

As our next Electrician, you’ll be at the forefront of installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within a manufacturing environment. Your expertise in industrial electrical systems and equipment maintenance will be essential to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Install, maintain, repair, and test motors, generators, and electrical control systems

• Support hydraulic and pneumatic electrical systems within production equipment

• Install and repair wiring, conduits, receptacles, and electrical components

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and code specifications

• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure safe and efficient system operation

• Ensure compliance with quality systems and EHS standards

• Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, CI) within the maintenance function

• Maintain equipment to maximize uptime and operational efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma and/or college diploma in a related field

• Industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing environment

• Industrial Electrician License (required)

• Knowledge of PLC systems (Allen Bradley preferred)

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and codes

• Strong mathematical and technical problem-solving skills

• Good communication and interpersonal abilities

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing

• Exposure to automation systems and controls

• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs

• Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement practices
