DescriptionWe are seeking a Software Integration and Test (SIT) Engineer who wants to solve interesting, complex problems to protect our nation. As a SIT engineer on this team, you will work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment to design, develop, and implement test plans and procedures for software (SW) requirement verification & validation. You will be responsible for SW integration, requirement analysis, test planning and execution, SW performance analysis, troubleshooting and coordination for remediation. In this role you will write test procedure scripts in Perl, Python, Linux, and with automated software test tools. In support of the test execution leads, you will conduct test walk throughs, and communicate plans, status and out-briefs with the IPT leads, team members, and the customer.
Basic Qualifications:- Active SCI or DoD TS clearance required at time of application
- Level 1: Bachelor's degree in STEM
- Level 2: Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2 years of related experience, or a Master's degree in STEM
- Working knowledge of software integration and test principles and processes
- Be able to work independently and in a team environment and have excellent oral/written communication skills
- Experience in Test Automation scripting and languages (Perl, Python, Linux, automated software test tools such as Eggplant, Robot Framework, and Selenium)
- Experience using Atlassian software development tool suite (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, etc)
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience in Formal Qualifying Campaigns and requirements verification
- Experience in interface testing
- Space and Ground Domain knowledge
- Opportunity to travel to field sites to support software installations
Primary Level Salary Range: $76,200.00 - $114,400.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
