Full Job Description
Leads the design, development, and execution of Legal Department technology solutions with a primary focus on Microsoft 365 experience delivery, knowledge management, SharePoint architecture and governance, Microsoft Power Platform solutions including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, data/reporting enablement, and AI adoption. The role supports data management from the reporting side by structuring data, improving data quality and governance, and enabling reporting and analytics through SQL-driven datasets and tools such as Power BI or Tableau. The role also serves as an AI leader for Legal, helping implement and promote Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI agents, and future AI-enabled capabilities as they come online. Operates with autonomy, partners across Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Technology, leads complex projects, drives training and adoption, and builds scalable solutions that transform legal service delivery and operational efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support Legal Department or business unit in improving processes, knowledge management, information governance, records management, vendor management, and use of technology.
2. Develop and implement service delivery models, communications, and training.
3. Manage the Legal Department's cross-functional requirements, including risk assessments, business continuity plans, audits, security, space planning, and other similar programs.
4. Manage Legal Department projects, strategic planning, and strategic initiatives and supervise the development of reports used to manage resources and expenses.
5. Cultivate a team-oriented environment through leadership that enhances junior Teammates' hard work and successes.
6. Exercise independent judgment and discretion in drafting and negotiating appropriate contractual or other legal documents to ensure mitigation of financial and regulatory risk to the company and prepare written memoranda, summaries of contracts/project-level documents, and various letters, polices, procedures, etc.
7. Research federal and state statutes, rules, and regulations and apply such law to existing facts.
8. Respond to legal inquires and interpret internal policies and procedures.
9. Develop strong relationships with internal and external project stakeholders, including other Legal Department Teammates, interested lines of business, and vendors.
10. Identify legal or business risks and escalate appropriately.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate.
2. Eight or more years of relevant experience in a corporate setting, law firm, or government agency.
3. Superior interpersonal and inter-team communication skills.

5. Superior organizational skills while being able to prioritize workload to meet critical timelines.
6. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, including senior management and executives.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Eight or more years of hands-on experience with SharePoint, including SharePoint Online and/or on-premises environments, with demonstrated expertise in site architecture, permissions/security, governance, metadata, and content management.
2. Hands-on experience developing and managing workflows within SharePoint, including modern Power Automate solutions and legacy SharePoint workflow tools such as SharePoint Designer workflows or similar, with ability to transition and modernize legacy solutions.
3. Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
4. Experience with SQL, data management, data validation, dataset design, and reporting data preparation in support of operational analytics.
5. Experience creating, supporting, or partnering on dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
6. Experience evaluating, implementing, supporting, or promoting adoption of AI-enabled solutions, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI agents, generative AI, intelligent automation, or related platforms.
7. Demonstrated ability to lead technology adoption initiatives, user training, workshops, office hours, documentation, and change management programs for new tools and capabilities.
8. Understanding of responsible AI principles, data governance, privacy considerations, information security, and appropriate controls for AI-enabled workflows.
9. Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
