What you'll do

As Legal Operations Specialist, you will focus on maximizing the Legal team's efficiency and effectiveness by implementing technical solutions and processes for the legal team, while also partnering with RevOps, Finance, People Ops, and IT teams.

This position is an individual contributor reporting to the Director of Legal Operations and is designated Remote.

Responsibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of technical solutions with existing infrastructure and processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Legal department to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
  • Track key metrics and report on the impact of technology solutions on Legal operations, providing insights to stakeholders and driving continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Director of Legal Operations, finance, accounting and other functions to ensure timely processing of accruals and invoices
  • Track legal spend by function, region and vendor; provide regular reporting against budgeted and accrued amounts
  • Coordinate new vendor onboarding and management
  • Maintain and update shared resources and processes for knowledge management across the Legal team, including primary ownership of department intranet & knowledge base
  • Support legal and cross-functional projects as they arise.


What you bring

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, JD or MBA desirable
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant legal operations or other experience, with a focus on technology implementation and process improvement.
  • Proven experience with legal technologies supporting agreement processes, such as contract lifecycle management, and a strong understanding of their capabilities.
  • Experience with e-billing and matter management technologies.
  • Experience using generative AI, large language models and machine learning tools to accelerate and improve law department operations.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills

In accordance with various State's transparency regulations, we provide the following salary range information for this position:
  • Base salary range: $115,000 - $135,000 annually. The exact salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.
  • Additional compensation: All full-time roles are eligible for an equity package in the form of stock options.
