Full Job Description
The Learning Program Manager leads strategic learning initiatives and support Kearney University's (KU) day-to-day operations. This role serves as a key execution partner to KU leadership, managing complex programs and projects from planning through completion while ensuring priorities, stakeholders, partnerships, risks, and deliverables remain aligned.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working with autonomy. They will drive follow-through, anticipate and communicate risks, and partner across the organization to deliver learning initiatives that support Kearney & Company's business objectives, workforce capabilities, compliance requirements, and professional development goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex learning programs and projects from planning through implementation, including program development, system enhancements, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive assigned initiatives forward, maintain accountability for commitments and deadlines, proactively identify issues, and develop timely solutions.
  • Develop and manage project plans, milestones, resources, dependencies, budgets, risks, and deliverables across internal teams, SMEs, vendors, and contractors.
  • Support day-to-day KU operations and recurring processes, ensuring activities and deliverables are completed accurately, consistently, and on time.
  • Leverage platforms and tools such as Salesforce, SharePoint, Microsoft Power Automate, and other business systems to improve workflows, automate processes, strengthen data integrity, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Analyze program and operational data, develop reports and dashboards, monitor key performance indicators, and translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Provide clear, proactive updates; surface risks, dependencies, and decisions needed; and track key actions, owners, and deadlines through completion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to establish clear objectives, deliverables, roles, and timelines, resolve issues, and ensure commitments are met.
  • Identify and implement improvements to KU processes, workflows, systems, and documentation to strengthen efficiency, consistency, and continuity.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive project, program, or operations management experience, preferably within corporate learning, professional services, or a similarly complex environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders with strong ownership, organization, communication, and follow-through.
  • Strong analytical and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience using data, metrics, and reporting to support business decisions.
  • Strong team player with a flexible, hands-on approach and willingness to step in where needed to achieve team and organizational goals.
  • Ability to work onsite 2-3 days a week onsite in Alexandria, VA
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, or similar business intelligence and automation tools.
  • Experience in professional services, government contracting, or another regulated or compliance-focused environment.


The expected salary range for this position is between $95,000 and $110,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
