Learning Optimization ExecutiveAbout the RoleThe Learning Optimization Executive serves as a strategic partner and key advisor to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), leading the vision and strategy for enterprise-wide learning and development. This executive-level role is responsible for modernizing learning across the organization, ensuring associates have access to innovative, scalable, and impactful development experiences that support both current business objectives and future workforce needs.
Reporting directly to the CHRO, the Learning Optimization Executive provides strategic oversight of the learning function and organizational responsibility for the Director of Training and associated learning teams. This role is instrumental in driving organizational effectiveness, workforce readiness, and a culture of continuous learning throughout the bank.
What You'll Do- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CHRO, supporting enterprise HR and Training initiatives, strategic decision-making, and organizational alignment.
- Lead the enterprise learning strategy to modernize, streamline, and elevate training and development across the bank.
- Partner with executive leadership, business units, and committees to align learning priorities with organizational goals and future workforce capabilities.
- Oversee the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of new hire orientation, functional onboarding, technical training, and enterprise-wide learning programs.
- Provide strategic leadership to learning teams to ensure consistent, high-quality learning experiences and outcomes.
- Implement scalable learning solutions, including digital learning, blended learning, and performance-support tools.
- Establish governance, standards, and quality controls for learning content, delivery methods, and program effectiveness.
- Utilize data, feedback, and performance metrics to evaluate learning outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and associate development.
- Ensure learning programs support regulatory requirements, compliance expectations, and operational readiness.
- Lead enterprise initiatives that enhance learning quality, consistency, and effectiveness across all departments.
- Support organizational development, workforce planning, enterprise readiness, and HR transformation initiatives.
- Foster an operational excellence mindset throughout the learning function.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or a related field.
- Experience leading learning and development functions within a corporate, financial services, or other regulated industry environment.
- Experience leading teams responsible for training, instructional design, or learning operations.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to drive enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Experience overseeing large-scale learning programs, including onboarding and technical training.
- Experience supporting or advising senior HR leadership on enterprise strategy, organizational development, or transformation efforts.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Strong knowledge of learning strategy, adult learning principles, and modern instructional design methodologies.
- Experience driving digital learning transformation, including eLearning, blended learning, and learning technologies.
- Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- Ability to evaluate learning effectiveness through data analysis, performance outcomes, and business results.
- Executive presence with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Working knowledge of learning management systems, content authoring tools, and performance-support platforms.
