Full Job Description
SUMMARY:

The Learning & Development Partner will design, implement, and sustain innovative training and development initiatives that strengthen leadership capabilities and enhance organizational performance. This role will provide strategic direction and hands-on execution for all learning and development functions, ensuring alignment with Viaflex's long-term goals and values.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy that supports organizational growth and employee success.
  • Assess training needs across the business and design solutions that address short- and long-term development priorities.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of learner-focused content that incorporates multiple modalities to engage diverse learning styles.
  • Facilitate and deliver training programs, along with new team member orientation, while also supporting curriculum design, instructional development, and implementation.
  • Introduce and expand innovative approaches beyond traditional classroom training, such as mentoring, coaching, and experiential learning.
  • Lead workplace language initiatives and cross-cultural training programs that build inclusivity, improve communication, and strengthen collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Oversee the learning enablement platform, delivering impactful digital learning experiences and leveraging analytics to identify trends, close skill gaps, and inform talent development decisions that advance organizational performance.
  • Provide consultation to leaders and team members on professional development opportunities.
  • Mentor and coach trainers, managers, and employees to strengthen development capabilities across the organization.
  • Partner in the development of budgets, plans, policies, and long-term initiatives related to training and development.
  • Promote and ensure adherence to workplace safety and ergonomics standards within training environments.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in business, organizational development, human resources, or related field. 7+ years of progressive experience in leadership and training, or a combination of education and equivalent experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Proven success in designing, implementing, and leading training programs at an organizational level. Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage large groups and diverse audiences. Strategic thinker with the ability to connect development initiatives to business outcomes. Independent self-starter with strong organizational, relationship-building, and team leadership skills.

Highly skilled in coaching, mentoring, and supporting leadership growth.

Creative problem solver with a passion for innovation in learning approaches.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning management tools.

Ability to multi-task and have strong attention to detail. Strong ability to coach and motivate. Possess enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful. Prior experience with e-learning and LMS is a plus. Limited travel as needed.
