This position offers a base salary range of $71,651 - $119,419 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus based on company performance.
OVERVIEW
Lead a high-performing team of learning designers in crafting innovative, impactful learning solutions that drive workforce development across our enterprise. This role is pivotal in aligning learning initiatives with business goals, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and elevating employee performance through impactful learning design.
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
1. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of learning designers to deliver high-quality, learner-centric solutions.
2. Manage project timelines, resources, and priorities to ensure on-time delivery of learning programs.
3. Oversee the design and development of engaging learning experiences including eLearning, blended learning, and performance support tools. Ensure learning solutions are data-driven, scalable, and aligned with adult learning principles and business strategy.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments to understand business needs and translate them into effective learning strategies; collaborate with subject matter experts, HR, and operational leaders to co-create solutions that support workforce development and organizational growth.
5. Champion innovation in learning design by integrating emerging technologies, gamification, and adaptive learning techniques. Establish and uphold standards for instructional design quality, accessibility, and effectiveness.
6. Define success metrics and evaluate the impact of learning programs on business performance and employee development; continuously improve learning offerings based on feedback, analytics, and evolving business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or related field required
• Master's degree in above mentioned disciplines preferred
Experience
• Minimum 5 years in learning design, managing complex learning projects in a fast-paced corporate environment, and expertise in instructional design methodologies, adult learning theory, and learning technologies (e.g., LMS, authoring tools) required
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
Licenses/Certifications
• Design Thinking/Instructional Design Certification preferred
