Le spécialiste HSE pour les Projets et Services est responsable d'apporter un soutien HSE quotidien aux activités assignées (travaux de services et grands projets) dans l'ensemble d'Hydro Canada.

The EHS Specialist for Projects and Services is responsible for Providing day-to-day EHS support for assigned activities (service and large project work) across Hydro Canada.

Responsabilités clés / Fonctions essentielles :

Vous aurez les responsabilités suivantes :
  • Développer des relations de travail solides avec les responsables opérationnels et les chefs de projet des sites assignés.
  • Promouvoir la culture HSE (Hygiène, Sécurité, Environnement) attendue dans toutes les opérations.
  • Agir en tant qu'intermédiaire de soutien pour tous les sites assignés afin d'aider à la conformité aux exigences réglementaires. S'assurer que toutes les opérations sont effectuées conformément aux exigences réglementaires et celles de GE. Comprendre les exigences contractuelles HSE.
  • Réaliser des visites HSE de lancement sur site pour vérifier les conditions HSE et accompagner l'équipe locale dans la mise en œuvre du plan HSE du site.
  • Effectuer des inspections régulières sur les sites assignés pour s'assurer que les règles et procédures de sécurité sont respectées.
  • Mener des audits approfondis conformément au plan d'audit de l'entreprise, avec rigueur et cohérence, afin d'identifier les lacunes et de favoriser l'amélioration de la gestion HSE.
  • Soutenir la gestion des produits chimiques pour Hydro P&S : approuver les nouveaux produits chimiques, gérer la base de données numérique des Fiches de Données de Sécurité (FDS), etc.
  • Soutenir la région Canada dans l'amélioration continue des programmes HSE et de leurs méthodes de mise en œuvre sur les sites.
  • Examiner, analyser et évaluer l'efficacité des programmes existants et recommander les améliorations nécessaires. Soutenir les sous-régions dans le maintien des accréditations sur les sites assignés.
  • Identifier, soutenir le recrutement, puis gérer et développer le personnel HSE basé sur les sites qui vous sont assignés.
  • Favoriser l'utilisation accrue des programmes et outils numériques sur les sites assignés, en alignement avec la stratégie mondiale Hydro.
  • Mener des enquêtes et des analyses sur tous les accidents ou situations dangereuses. Identifier les tendances et les causes, et assurer le suivi des actions correctives et préventives.
  • Dispenser des formations HSE au personnel des sites assignés selon les besoins.
  • S'assurer que tous les rapports HSE internes et externes sont complétés dans les délais et avec précision. Participer à l'analyse de données HSE pour la région Amérique du Nord.
  • Soutenir l'organisation HSE EMEA (Europe, Moyen-Orient, Afrique) sur les aspects ITO (avant-vente), processus ISO, cadres de travail, programmes culturels HSE, sécurité des sous-traitants et applicabilité réglementaire.
  • Être le point de contact "GE Learning" pour la région Amérique du Nord.
  • Coordonner l'intégration (onboarding) HSE pour la région.
  • Mener des revues ITO et évaluer les exigences et risques HSE, à la demande, pour soutenir l'entreprise dans l'obtention de commandes.
  • Diriger l'accréditation ISO 14001 sur sa région.

Qualifications requises :
  • Licence (ou équivalent) en ingénierie ou dans un domaine lié à l'HSE.
  • 5 ans d'expérience ou plus en HSE, avec une exposition à plusieurs domaines HSE dans un environnement de projets ou de services.
  • Connaissance du secteur de l'énergie.
  • Connaissance de la législation canadienne en matière d'HSE.
  • Capacité à se déplacer jusqu'à 60 % du temps, selon les besoins.
  • Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais - Toute autre langue sera appréciée.

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop strong working relationship with operational and project manager of the assigned sites.
  • Drive the expected EHS culture across all operations.
  • Act as support liaison for all assigned sites in helping comply with regulatory requirements. Ensure all operations are carried out in compliance with applicable regulatory and GE requirements. Understand EHS contractual requirements.
  • Conduct Site kick-off EHS visit to check site EHS conditions and coach the site team as needed in site EHS Plan implementation.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned sites to ensure safety rules and procedures are followed.
  • Conduct deep audits in line with the business audit plan, with rigor and consistency, to identify deficiencies and drive improvements in the management of EHS. Support EHS management of chemicals for Hydro P&S: conduct approval of new chemicals, manage Safety Data Sheet digital databank, etc.
  • Support the Canada Region in driving continuous improvement in EHS programs, and the way they are implemented across sites.
  • Review, analyze and evaluate effectiveness of existing programs and recommend necessary improvements. Support the Sub-regions in maintaining accreditation across assigned sites.
  • Identify, support the hiring of, then manage and develop Site based EHS staffing for sites assigned to them.
  • Drive increased use of Digital Programs and tools across assigned sites, aligned with Hydro Global.
  • Conduct investigations and analysis of all accidents or hazardous situations. Identify trends and causes, as well as follow up on corrective and preventative actions.
  • Deliver EHS trainings to assigned sites population as required.
  • Ensure all internal and external EHS reporting is completed on time and with accuracy. Participate in Sub-Region data-analytics for North America Region.
  • Support EMEA EHS Organization in ITO, ISO Process, Framework, EHS Cultural Program, Contractor Safety and regulatory applicability.
  • Be the GE Learning EHS point of contact for North America Region.
  • Coordinate the EHS Onboarding for the Region.
  • Conduct ITO reviews and assess EHS requirements and risks, as requested to support the business being successful in gaining orders.
  • Lead the ISO 14001 accreditation across his/her region.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or related EHS field.
  • 5+ years EHS experience, with exposure to several EHS areas in a Projects or Services environment.
  • Knowledge of Energy business.
  • Knowledge of Canada EHS legislation.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%, as required.
  • Fluent in French & English - Any other language will be appreciated.
