Qualifications

• Expertise in general contractor sourcing, RFP management, and contract negotiation.
• Strong grasp of construction methods, scheduling, and cost analysis.
• Ability to interpret design and construction documentation accurately.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Proficient in project management and estimating software like MS Project and MS Office Suite.
• Commitment to quality and detail with a proactive approach in a design-driven setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to set realistic construction budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and conduct thorough analyses of contractor estimates.
• Source and qualify general contractors for both new builds and renovations.
• Draft and manage General Contractor RFPs for clarity in scope and expectations.
• Evaluate and compare GC proposals, leading the interview process and making cost-effective recommendations.
• Negotiate and finalize Letters of Intent and General Contractor contracts.
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with development timelines.
• Review construction details for compliance with design intent, ensuring feasibility and constructability.
