The Leader, Global Event Production & Operations oversees the production and operational execution of RH's global events, activations, strategic initiatives and special projects. This role is responsible for overseeing RH's production agency partners across North America and Europe, translating creative direction into executable production plans, and coordinating the complex logistics required to deliver each project. The position oversees production, transportation, logistics and onsite execution from planning through completion, ensuring every detail reflects RH's standards of quality, service and innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Global Production & Agency Oversight
  • Responsible for oversight of RH's production agency partners across North America and Europe, ensuring teams are aligned on scope, timing, budgets and deliverables across assigned projects.
  • Serve as the day-to-day production and operational liaison between internal teams, production agencies and external partners.
  • Translate creative direction into comprehensive production plans in partnership with agency teams.
  • Responsible for agency scopes of work, production estimates, timelines and deliverables.
  • Review production feasibility, timing, logistics and costs, identifying solutions and escalating key decisions as needed.
  • Coordinate production planning across markets, ensuring execution reflects RH's standards of quality, hospitality and design.
  • Maintain clear communication and accountability across production agencies, vendors and internal teams throughout each project.

Event Production & Operations
  • Responsible for production and operational planning across RH's global events, Gallery openings, annual design and cultural moments, and global activations.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, production schedules, timelines, Run of Shows and Run of Weeks in partnership with production agencies.
  • Oversee load-in, installation, event execution, breakdown and load-out across assigned projects.
  • Coordinate production across staging, lighting, sound, tenting, power, entertainment, transportation, security, valet and other event infrastructure.
  • Oversee permitting, credentialing, insurance, municipal approvals and other local production requirements with agency partners.
  • Research, source and negotiate vendors as needed across production, transportation, entertainment and gifting.
  • Partner with Brand Packaging on event and opening needs, including the development and execution of on-brand signage and related materials.
  • Liaise with RH Hospitality teams to coordinate event execution, including beverage ordering, catering logistics and other hospitality needs.
  • Coordinate entertainment logistics, backstage operations and artist hospitality.
  • Coordinate transportation, accommodations and itineraries for internal teams, VIPs, talent and partners as required.
  • Conduct operational readiness reviews to ensure logistics, vendors, permits, staffing and transportation are confirmed prior to execution.
  • Develop contingency plans and proactively identify operational risks.
  • Lead onsite operational execution across assigned projects and troubleshoot issues in real time.
  • Oversee post-event reconciliation, inventory and operational wrap reports and recaps.
  • Special Projects & Global Logistics
  • Responsible for production and operational execution across special projects and strategic collaborations, including the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team collaboration and future global initiatives.
  • Develop project production plans, timelines and cross-functional action items across internal teams and external partners.
  • Responsible for transportation and logistics planning across special projects, including the movement of people, product and production assets.
  • Oversee domestic and international shipping, freight, customs documentation, receiving, warehousing and final-mile coordination for event and special project materials.
  • Coordinate closely with RH logistics, delivery, merchandising and other internal teams, as well as external freight, transportation and production partners.
  • Oversee operational requirements surrounding talent and entertainment, including travel, hospitality, product fulfillment and contractual deliverables.
  • Support production and operational planning for new activations, collaborations and executive-led initiatives.
  • Operations & Administration
  • Build and maintain comprehensive project trackers, production calendars, timelines and status reports across assigned projects.
  • Track action items across internal departments, production agencies and external partners, ensuring deadlines are met and projects remain on schedule.
  • Track production budgets, estimates, purchase orders, invoices and expense reconciliation in partnership with internal teams and agency partners.
  • Coordinate vendor and agency onboarding, contract execution, insurance documentation and compliance requirements as needed.
  • Oversee inventory, storage and deployment of event and production assets.
  • Maintain production books, vendor directories, transportation manifests, contact lists and other operational documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve production processes, agency workflows and operational efficiencies.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequently moving and lifting items up to 50 lbs while utilizing appropriate equipment and following safety guidelines
  • Frequent domestic and international travel
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by business needs and event schedules
  • Frequent working on feet for extended periods during event setup and execution
  • Navigate indoor and outdoor event spaces, including staircases or uneven terrain, as required for venue preparation
