Full Job Description
Responsibilities

Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or staff. Supervises staff in the absence of manager/director. Promotes teamwork and good customer service. Assists in annual evaluations and staff discipline. Lead Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.

2. Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.

3. Previous experience preferred.

4. Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.

5. Proficient computer skills
