Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Lead Total Rewards Analyst to serve as the organization's subject matter expert for compensation strategy, analysis, and program administration. This role will lead key compensation initiatives while partnering closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders to ensure compensation programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational goals.

While compensation is the primary focus, this position also offers the opportunity to expand into broader Total Rewards initiatives, including health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, HR analytics, and strategic program development.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation (Primary Focus)
  • Lead the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including base salary, incentive plans, and other pay programs.
  • Conduct market pricing analyses, job evaluations, and salary benchmarking to support competitive compensation decisions.
  • Maintain salary structures, pay grades, and job architecture while ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Manage the annual compensation planning process, including merit increases, incentive programs, and salary review cycles.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide guidance on compensation decisions and pay practices.
  • Support compensation governance through audits, reporting, compliance, and policy administration.
  • Analyze compensation data and develop recommendations that align with business objectives and talent strategies.

Total Rewards
  • Support the administration of health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, and vendor relationships.
  • Assist with benefits communications and employee education initiatives.
  • Participate in Total Rewards projects, including program evaluations, market benchmarking, and continuous process improvements.
  • Help develop and enhance Total Rewards programs that support employee attraction, retention, and engagement.

Data & Analytics
  • Develop compensation and Total Rewards reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
  • Analyze HR and compensation data to identify trends and provide actionable business insights.
  • Partner with HRIS and Finance teams to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Utilize analytics to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, or Human Resources with significant hands-on compensation experience.
  • Strong experience with compensation analysis, market pricing, salary structures, and annual compensation planning.
  • Experience interpreting compensation data and translating findings into business recommendations.
