As a Lead Technical Program Manager within Consumer & Community Banking Core Engineering Solutions, you will be part of a fast-growing product team responsible for promoting and enhancing the engineer experience across the entire Consumer & Community Banking organization. You will leverage your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and methodologies to develop innovative solutions while effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability will help you navigate ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives remain aligned with business objectives. Through advanced communication and stakeholder management skills, you will build productive relationships and influence key decisions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will also shape operational plans and risk management strategies, upholding the highest standards of quality and professionalism in service delivery.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects and programs

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project or program outcomes

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals

  • Utilize technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation

  • Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle

  • Build relationships with customers to understand challenges and develop solutions to resolve them driving satisfaction and holding a customer first mentality

  • Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate program planning and risk synthesis (e.g., consolidating inputs into integrated plans, RAID, and executive-ready updates), validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements

  • Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

  • Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for program governance and reporting, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards

  • Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate program planning and risk synthesis (e.g., consolidating inputs into integrated plans, RAID, and executive-ready updates), validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
  • Demonstrate proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
  • Have a strong experience leading through the project lifecycle management, including influencing decision makers and adapting to changes as business needs evolve
  • Strong technical fluency, with familiarity in current and relevant platforms, software tools, and technologies
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with a track record of establishing productive working relationships and driving mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support program management workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Be the go-to person for your domain, assuming a highly visible role within the company as the subject matter expert presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Self-motivated, innovative thinker with the ability to derive, formulate, and develop new concepts, processes and value-added activities
  • Keen attention to detail, strong organization skills and thorough follow-up
