Full Job Description
The Lead Technical Operations Analyst will provide production support for, and automation of, financial services production processes. This role will coordinate and oversee production processes for EASY applications to help ensure compliance with regulatory and client Service Level Agreements, respond to and mitigate production-critical program failures, perform root-cause analysis, identify automation opportunities, provide customer service, model best practices for less senior team members, and advise the manager on team and initiative status.

What you will do:
  • Create, schedule, and monitor back-end applications for transactional processing using the CA Workload Automation tool, AutoSys.
  • Monitor and maintain the EASY Workload Automation Tool to ensure timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Monitor production performance of back-end processes, mitigate program failures, and escalate major system issues to other support teams in the organization.
  • Respond to service ticket requests from business users, system developers, and clients to perform requested tasks within the scope of team responsibilities.
  • Use a service ticketing system to respond to requests for assistance regarding transaction processing.
  • Access the EASY system code base and databases to investigate program failures.
  • Communicate with development teams to report production issues and risks that require development effort to repair or mitigate.
  • Advise on and work on or lead strategic initiatives to mitigate or alleviate back-end application issues, including opportunities for process automation.
  • Present automation opportunities to developers on the team.
  • Operate independently with significant latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions.
  • Direct team priorities where necessary in critical situations.
  • Resolve most questions and problems independently.
  • Reach out to internal customers when required to solve system issues.
  • Lend knowledge and expertise to troubleshoot complex issues in cooperation with colleagues.
  • Assist less senior team members with decision-making when required and may override their decisions when necessary for the benefit of the organization.
  • Work closely with counterparts in Bangalore and offshore resources to ensure coverage and fluid communication of issues, processes, and status.
  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
  • May be consulted to offer recommendations on performance appraisals, work schedules, and hiring decisions.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Work occasional overtime and weekends, particularly where communication with offshore resources is concerned.

  • 6 years of experience configuring and monitoring program execution in a workload automation tool.
  • 6 years of experience providing technical support for an enterprise software system in a customer-facing role.
  • 4-6 years of experience business analysis.
  • Ability to analyze trends in system issues and recommend solutions or mitigations.

Base Salary Range
$96,100.00 - $135,700.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
