Job Description Job Description Job Responsibilities • Execution of preventive maintenance activities, analyze parts conditions, establish ideal frequency of part changes. • Participating on update and development of CILT, CL, documents. • Follow all safety procedures and identify/communicate the necessary adjustments to address potential safety concerns, including the proper use of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment). • Work with BD production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure that goals are met. • Maintain primary communication of performance goals and requirements identified by management. • Support QN/CAPA activities as required (Corrective and Preventive Actions to address systemic issues in the manufacturing and quality systems. • Communicate with cross-functional team members and suppliers to understand and determine product process and equipment specifications   • May supervise or manage technicians, engineering interns or associate engineers  • Document process development including manufacturing procedures, protocols, and reports   • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of product design, manufacture, and assembly techniques   • Estimate resource requirements, workload assignment, production times for manufacturing processes   • Train technicians, operations and quality assurance on new design and process development and test methods  • Manage the manufacturing site selection process based on the evaluation of internal manufacturing sites, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.   Minimum Education: • BA/BS Degree Required – Industrial, Mechanical, or other Engineering. Minimum Experience: • Demonstrated leadership experience required. • Demonstrated experience reading manuals, electrical/pneumatic and mechanical drawings. • 5 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing required. • 3 years’ experience in maintenance of high-speed automated assembly and packaging equipment required. • Experience in development of PLC codes and/or modification to codes. required. • ERP Systems experience, such as SAP, ORACLE, JD Eduards, etc. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Access) Knowledge and Skills  • Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish). • Demonstrated hands-on technical aptitude • Strong written, communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and write reports • Basic tooling, design and drafting knowledge. Knowledge: • Strong knowledge in Servo Motion Controls System as Kinetix Servo drives, Sinamics or similar • Strong knowledge in PLC Allen Bradley to connect and diagnose failure. • Knowledge in Robot teaching/calibration, Fanuc, ABB, Epson, Staubli. • Strong knowledge in Rockwell Automation Software: Studio 5000 (RSLogix 5000), Factory Talk Machine Edition/Site Edition, etc. • Strong knowledge in Servo Motion Controls System as Kinetix Servo drives, Sinamics or similar • Advanced process control such as Fuzzy Logix, Profibuss, ProfiNet networks, PID Function and Functional Charts Language, Ethernet-IP / TCP-IP Networks. • Strong knowledge of Vision Systems such as Cognex (Insight 5000, 2000, micro, Keyence CVX, IV, Banner). • Experience in ultrasonic welding, • InkJet printers (Domino, Lynx, Markem Image, Keyence). • Thermos transfer printers, flexographic printers and digital printers. • Knowledge and or experience in packaging equipment (Multivac, Tiromat GEA, Viking Masek, Foremost Fuji, Volpack). • Strong knowledge on pneumatics and electropneumatic, mechanical knowledge, electronics, schematics diagram interpretation and reading. • Experience in setting, adjusting, and replacing sensors (optical, inductive, capacitive, ultrasonic, etc.) • Basic knowledge in solid Works or equivalent, AutoCad, Pro-E, etc. Physical Demands • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use sight, and use hands to manipulate objects, tools, controls, and office equipment. The employee is frequently required to verbally communicate with other associates. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.  • Physical ability to do work requires frequent stopping, climbing stairs, twisting and bending frequently (more than 4 hours of each activity).
