Job Description:

The Space & Mission Systems (SMS) segment is seeking a proactive and results-driven Talent Management Generalist to join the Human Resources team. This role focuses on project and program management of SMS-specific HR programs within the HR Center of Excellence's Talent Management workstreams, including Talent Development & Succession, Leadership Development programs, Engagement & Retention, Performance Management, Assessments, and Coaching initiatives. The ideal candidate will also support organizational design, effectiveness, and development, as well as facilitate and recommend impactful training programs that align with business needs. In addition, this role will serve as a Talent Business Partner to a sector within SMS to drive Talent Management processes and provide solutions for the business.

Essential Functions:

• Program/Project Management:
o Manage multiple talent and development programs, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business needs
o Track and report on program outcomes, leveraging metrics to demonstrate impact
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate talent management strategies with broader HR initiatives such as compensation, benefits, and employee relations
o Leverage HR technology platforms to drive projects, including talent analytics and HR information systems
• Talent Reviews & Succession Planning:
o Manage talent review processes to identify high-potential employees and key talent across the organization
o Drive succession planning strategies to build leadership pipelines and address critical role requirements
o Partner with leaders and HR to ensure alignment of talent plans with organizational goals
• Leadership Development & Coaching:
o Design and deliver leadership development programs to enhance management and executive capabilities
o Coordinate and administer 360-degree feedback assessments and provide insights to support individual and team growth
o Act as a coach or partner with external coaches to support leadership development initiatives
• Training:
o Develop and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and programs to build core competencies and drive employee engagement
o Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements
o Engage with external vendors to coordinate employee participation in external training programs
o Partner with functional management teams to assess training and development needs as well as the effectiveness of established programs
• Organizational Design & Development:
o Collaborate with leaders to design and implement organizational structures that align with strategic priorities
o Conduct organizational effectiveness assessments and recommend solutions to enhance performance and engagement
o Drive change management initiatives to support the successful adoption of new structures, processes, or technologies
• Employee Engagement & Development:
o Partner with HR and leadership teams to identify engagement improvement factors and create targeted engagement action plans
o Monitor the effectiveness of talent initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
• Talent Business Partner:
o Serve as the Talent Partner for designated sector(s) and the HRBP community by providing strategic consultation and resources, and collaborating on engagement, performance management, learning and development, and talent management activities to enhance business and employee experience
o Potential travel up to 5%

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience

Preferred Additional Skills:
• 7+ years of experience in human resources, talent management, leadership development, or organizational development roles
• Experience in project management and program delivery
• Experience in talent reviews, succession planning, and 360-degree feedback processes
• Ability to design and facilitate leadership development and training programs
• Experience in coaching and providing feedback to employees and leaders
• Strong understanding of organizational design and effectiveness principles
