Job Description Summary
This TA Partner is responsible for delivering comprehensive, strategic recruitment support across the entire hiring process. This role focuses on partnering with designated client groups to effectively manage a diverse portfolio of open positions and ensure that the TA goals are met with high quality candidates. They will possess a strong knowledge of proactive sourcing techniques, advanced screening skills, strong negotiation capabilities, and the ability to manage complex recruitment processes. The Senior TA Partner will be proficient in advising both hiring managers and senior leaders on market trends, recruitment strategies, and talent acquisition best practices and expected to track and optimize key performance metrics for effectiveness and continuous process improvement.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Recruit:

  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify and engage active and passive candidates.
  • Screen candidates for technical expertise, cultural fit, leadership potential and provide strategic input on candidate selection.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior recruiters on advanced sourcing and screening techniques.
  • Articulate a compelling career opportunity based on the candidate’s motivation.
  • Ensure the recruitment process is inclusive, equitable, and delivers positive candidate experience.
  • Be a brand ambassador by sharing content on social media and promoting GE Vernova (GEV) talent brand.
  • Build GEV presence in targeted channels to create candidate engagement strategies and build key pipelines for hard to fill roles.

Advise & Lead:

  • Leverage recruitment data and market insights to enhance recruitment strategies, offering actionable recommendations for process optimization and influencing stakeholders in response to market trends and talent availability.
  • Manage and advise on the end-to-end recruitment process for roles of varying complexity, providing insights and recommendations to hiring managers and people leaders.
  • Lead complex offer negotiations with candidates and provide guidance to stakeholders on compensation benchmarks.
  • Manage candidate / requisition lifecycle in ATS with highest accuracy and timeliness to ensure data integrity for reporting.

Innovation & Continuous Learning:

  • Apply Lean principles in your daily work to identify opportunities to optimize recruitment processes, track KPI’s, and identify areas for continuous improvement.  
  • Participate in projects and adopt best practices in daily operations. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge or equivalent experience
  • Considerable years of experience in recruitment with expertise in sourcing, screening, managing complex offers, and advising stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated years of consultative recruitment experience within the Conventional Power, Electric, or Renewable Energy industries, or other highly regulated, technical industry.
  • Demonstrated years of experience recruiting niched roles for Quebec province
  • Fluent French Speaker

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with TA tools such as Workday or similar Applicant Tracking System (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Neuron or other talent insights tool, Tableau, AI bots (ie: ChatGPT).
  • Strong advisory skills with the ability to influence hiring strategies.
  • Experience in change management and process optimization and implementation.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term and influence change.
  • Advanced story telling with data and trend information.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, especially in high stakes offers.
  • Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and coaching junior recruiters.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and compensation benchmarks.
  • Experience in both Corporate and agency recruiting environments is preferred.

For candidates applying to a Canadian-based position, the pay range for this position is between $89,400.00 -134,000.00 CAD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. 

Bonus eligibility: 10% annually

  • Renforcer la présence de GEV sur les canaux ciblés afin de créer des stratégies d'engagement des candidats et de constituer des viviers de talents clés pour les postes difficiles à pourvoir.

Conseil et leadership :

  • Exploiter les données de recrutement et les analyses de marché pour améliorer les stratégies de recrutement, en offrant des recommandations concrètes pour optimiser les processus et influencer les parties prenantes en réponse aux tendances du marché et à la disponibilité des talents.
  • Gérer et conseiller sur le processus de recrutement de bout en bout pour des rôles de complexités variées, en fournissant des perspectives et des recommandations aux gestionnaires d'embauche et aux responsables des ressources humaines.
  • Mener des négociations d'offres complexes avec les candidats et conseiller les parties prenantes sur les références de rémunération.
  • Gérer le cycle de vie des candidats et des demandes de recrutement dans le système de suivi des candidats (ATS) avec la plus grande précision et ponctualité pour garantir l'intégrité des données à des fins de rapports.

Innovation et apprentissage continu :

  • Appliquer les principes du Lean dans votre travail quotidien pour identifier des opportunités d'optimisation des processus de recrutement, suivre les indicateurs de performance clés (KPI) et identifier les domaines d'amélioration continue.
  • Participer à des projets et adopter les meilleures pratiques dans les opérations quotidiennes.

Qualifications requises :

  • Baccalauréat d'une université ou d'un collège accrédité, ou connaissances/expérience équivalentes.
  • Nombre important d'années d'expérience en recrutement avec expertise en recherche, évaluation, gestion d'offres complexes et conseil aux parties prenantes.
  • Expérience démontrée en recrutement consultatif dans les secteurs de l'énergie conventionnelle, de l'électricité ou des énergies renouvelables, ou dans une autre industrie technique hautement réglementée.
  • Expérience démontrée en recrutement pour des rôles spécialisés dans la province de Québec.
  • Maîtrise du français (parlé).

Pour les candidats postulant à un poste basé au Canada, l'échelle salariale pour ce poste se situe entre 89 400,00 $ et 134 000,00 $ CAD par an. Le salaire offert peut être influencé par divers facteurs, notamment l'expérience, l'éducation et l'ensemble des compétences du candidat.
