Full Job Description
The Lead Systems Engineer is responsible for leading the strategic direction, design, and implementation of associate technology at Humana, focused on Windows solutions. This role will require a deep understanding of modern workplace technology and the employee experience. This role will require a deep understanding of Microsoft Intune, Configmgr and/or other Enterprise Mobility Management solutions.

Selected candidates must currently reside within a 50-mile radius of one of the following locations: Arlington, VA; Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Louisville, KY; Nashville, TN; Tampa, FL; or the New York City Metropolitan Area, NY.

The Lead Systems Engineer is responsible for the oversight of multiple systems and projects, including policy management, compliance, and automation across Windows operating systems, Configmgr, Intune, etc. This position will also be accountable for implementing business continuity and oversee and evaluate Windows device system security, privacy, new device solutions across different lines of business, and backup processes.

This role will be an instrumental part of growing the Windows solutions across Humana's many different lines of business, such as Home Health and Primary Care. They will partner closely with peers across Architecture, Product Management, Support Services, and Experience & Design.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years of Windows endpoint management leveraging Group Policy, ConfigMgr, or Intune
  • 3 years experience implementing new technologies through Proof of Concepts/Values
  • 2 years managing Edge browser using Group Policy, Intune, or Edge Management Service
  • 3 years experience managing OEM hardware, BIOS, Drivers, and security configurations for Windows endpoints
  • 3 years experience deploying Windows via Operating System Deployment, Windows Autopilot, or virtual platforms such as Hyper-V, eSX, or Windows 365/AVD
  • 2 years performing automations via PowerShell, Python, or other automation languages


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification: MD-102 - Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • Certification: Nexthink Associate certification or above
  • Existing member of Microsoft Customer Connection Program (CCP) for Management
  • Experience with automating using Microsoft Graph API
  • Experience with Windows roadmap, lifecycle, and new capability deployment
  • 3 years experience securing Windows endpoints by working closely with security teams
  • 2 years experience keeping aware of industry and vendor trends through reputable programs such as Gartner or Forrester
  • 2 years using automation platforms such as System Center Orchestrator, Azure Automation, Azure DevOps, or low-code automations with Power Platform
  • 2 years experience working closely with other platform teams such as Mac, Mobile, and Virtual to build cross-platform standards
  • 1 year using DEX tools such as Nexthink, Lakeside, or 1E

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$117,600 - $161,700 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
