Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent or similar senior field leadership role, preferably in Florida.
  • Proven direct management of construction schedule, trade stacking, inspections, quality assurance, and project turnover.
  • Established credibility with subcontractors, project consultants, inspectors, and internal leadership teams.
  • Strong ability to maintain calm under pressure while managing complex field situations.
  • Current OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it immediately; bilingual English/Spanish is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily field operations, site logistics, safety protocols, and subcontractor management from mobilization to turnover.
  • Implement look-ahead planning, prepare recovery actions, and ensure inspection readiness and first-work quality.
  • Work closely with project management on critical decisions related to costs, procurement timelines, staffing, and risk management.
  • Facilitate field meetings and track documentation across various project phases including concrete, structure, and interiors.
  • Cultivate a culture of urgency, professionalism, and accountability within the field team.

Role: Lead Superintendent - Miami
Location: Miami, FL
Compensation: USD $125,000 - $175,000
Work Arrangement: On-Site

What this role will own
• Own day-to-day field execution, site logistics, safety, and subcontractor coordination from mobilization through turnover.
• Drive look-ahead planning, recovery action, inspection readiness, first-work quality, and disciplined field communication.
• Coordinate with project management on cost-sensitive decisions, procurement timing, staffing, and risk escalation. • Lead field meetings, documentation, and accountability across concrete, structure, enclosure, interiors, and turnover phases as applicable.
• Set the tone for urgency, professionalism, and follow-through across the entire field team.

What strong candidates bring
• Recent experience as a Lead Superintendent or senior field leader on meaningful vertical construction work, ideally in Florida.
• Direct responsibility for schedule, trade stacking, inspections, quality, and turnover - not merely support exposure.
• Credibility with subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and internal leadership.
• Ability to lead calmly under pressure and convert field complexity into practical action.
• OSHA 30 required or obtainable immediately; bilingual English / Spanish is helpful on many assignments.
