Full Job Description
Customer Experience Management (Digital) team is looking for a highly skilled, forward thinking Lead Cloud Architect to specialize designing technology solutions and application architecture to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards.

The Lead Cloud Architect - Digital translates business needs into technical systems solutions and leads the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level infrastructure and platforms related to cloud computing. Works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

This specific role is aligned to the Customer Experience Management (Digital) space which includes designing solutions and architecture related to Humana's web channel including MyHumana, Go365 and Humana Pharmacy - built on Adboe experience platform and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Person will influence and set technical direction in the digital application space. Provide architectural strategies & solutions, assessments and road maps for digital applications.
  • Collaborate with product owners to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to provide application and cloud architect expertise.
  • Translates business needs into technical systems solutions and leads the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level infrastructure and platforms related to cloud computing.
  • Contribute to and lead the build vs buy decisions from a technical leader perspective in collaboration with the business & delivery leaders.
  • Communicate and present technical aspects, risks, challenges, and selling points of a solution to IT and Business partners.
  • Identify, evaluate and assess risks to mitigate them and eliminate any factor that might hinder the successful delivery of a solution.
  • Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive information technology experience directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology field
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$142,300 - $195,700 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
