We are seeking an on-site Lead Software Engineer (Geospatial) to architect, develop, and scale our next-generation GIS, AI, and enterprise software solutions. In this role, you will provide technical leadership across geospatial platforms, AI-enabled capabilities, frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and enterprise data platforms.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities to deliver complex software solutions across the Esri ecosystem, artificial intelligence, cloud environments, and full-stack application development. You will partner closely with Product Managers, Architects, GIS Analysts, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to translate telecom network infrastructure and field operational requirements into scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions.

Required Experience:
5+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years leading technical teams, projects, or architecture initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Deep expertise in relational and spatial databases, specifically Oracle (Oracle Spatial) and PostgreSQL (PostGIS), including database design, query optimization, and ArcSDE tuning.
Proficiency in leveraging AI-driven development workflows, specifically utilizing GitHub and GitHub Copilot for code generation, optimization, and unit testing.
Mastery of React and TypeScript for building custom enterprise-grade Experience Builder widgets.
Deep enterprise expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, and the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript.
Proven experience implementing ArcGIS Workflow Manager for process orchestration and designing advanced smart forms using ArcGIS Survey123.
Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience building production-ready RESTful APIs with FastAPI.
Proven experience deploying, managing, and scaling applications within Microsoft Azure.
Mastery of Git, CI/CD pipelines, software architecture patterns, and containerization (Docker).
Desired Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, GIS, Information Systems, or a related field.
Desired Qualifications:
Practical experience with Esri's GeoAI tools, ArcGIS Pro Deep Learning frameworks, or open-source spatial data science and ML libraries (scikit-learn, GeoPandas, Rasterio, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
Experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, LangGraph, Model Context Protocol (MCP), or AI orchestration platforms.
Azure certifications and hands-on experience with Azure-specific services like Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or Azure Functions.
Experience working with Snowflake and Databricks for enterprise spatial data storage, queries, and analytics.
Experience with open-source GIS libraries (QGIS, GDAL/OGR, Fiona, Shapely).
Experience using Python (ArcPy/ArcGIS API for Python) to automate Survey123 data extractions and Workflow Manager tasks.
Experience with DevSecOps methodologies, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
