Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer specializing in Oracle Autonomous
Database (ADB) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to lead the core data-layer architecture for
an AI-driven, industry-focused demo platform. In this role, you will be responsible for
Autonomous AI Database topology. You will design relational schemas across multiple
industries, generate representative synthetic datasets, enforce rigorous schema-level data
isolation, and integrate least-privilege credentials with the Oracle AI Database Agent.
Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure & Autonomous Database Provisioning (WS3)
• Provision, manage, and configure the Oracle Database@Google Cloud (ODB@GCP)
environment and the target Autonomous AI Database (ADB) instance within a single
GCP project.
• Implement a cost-efficient single-ADB database topology housing four isolated industry
schemas: Financial, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Retail.
• Create least-privilege, schema-scoped database users and credentials for each agent
instance to ensure absolute data-layer isolation.
• Size and tune ADB ECPU auto-scaling and compute headroom to handle live summit
booth concurrency and load.
2. Data Modeling & Curation (WS4 & WS10)
• Design robust relational data models tailored to the four synthetic industry domains.
• Build, test, and execute reusable programmatic data generation scripts to produce
realistic, non-PII synthetic datasets.
• Load and seed initial datasets into each industry schema (50-500 rows per dimension
table; 10,000-100,000 rows per fact table).
• Validate data quality, structural integrity, and schema coverage to support
Natural-Language-to-SQL (NLSQL) queries.
3. Agent Integration & Security (WS5 & WS9)
• Work closely with the Cloud and AI engineering teams to bind distinct, schema-scoped
database credentials to multiple Oracle AI Database Agent instances.
• Fine-tune prompt execution, schema metadata, and agent configurations to ensure
accurate NLSQL generation against target schemas.
• Execute per-agent smoke testing and end-to-end validation (Question SQL Result
execution).
