Full Job Description
What You Will Do:

Technical Leadership
  • Build and Unit Test flexible, scalable, and robust integration applications for integration between Sales [SFDC], Billing [Zuora] platforms and with vendor applications to manage the invoicing cycle.
  • Assist in defining software architectures while collaborating with team members
  • Take leadership and responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions
  • Help define and enforce technical standards, best practices, and coding guidelines for supported applications.
  • Assist on architecture decisions with a strong understanding of business impact.
  • Work in a fast paced Agile/SCRUM environment.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams (US, India, and others) to ensure consistent quality delivery.

Delivery, Execution & Collaboration
  • Partner with Product Owners to help translate operational needs into actionable technical work.
  • Lead technical planning and estimation for operational enhancements, refactors, and other enabling initiatives.

Coaching, Mentorship & Influence
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior level engineers within the support organization.
  • Promote strong engineering habits, including system documentation, and knowledge sharing.


What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 7-10+ years of professional software development experience, with significant experience developing in serverless architecture.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Java, Python and REST API or similar technologies
    • Modern web technologies (Angular, React, TypeScript)
    • SQL and data modeling for production systems [Postgres, Oracle, Dynamo DB]
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), especially services used for event-based architecture.
  • Experience with asynchronous processing, event-driven systems, and microservices architectures.
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment [CICD] practices.
  • Ability to balance short-term operational needs with long-term architectural improvements.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a global, distributed team environment.
