Lead Software Engineer
Responsibilities Architect and deliver cloud-native data platforms on AWS, leveraging REST APIs, microservices, and Kafka-driven event architectures to build highly scalable and resilient systems Apply hands-on expertise across Angular, TypeScript, and SQL/NoSQL databases to tackle complex engineering challenges and uphold platform excellence at scale Drive product-wide technical initiatives spanning performance optimization, scalability, reliability, security, governance, and cost efficiency to advance long-term platform direction Collaborate with global engineering, product management, architecture, and business teams to translate strategic objectives into robust, future-ready technical solutions Take end-to-end ownership of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through deployment, observability, and documentation Lead and mentor junior engineers, cultivating a team culture grounded in innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous technical growth Requirements 8 to 10 years of software engineering experience with proven expertise in building scalable, UX-driven applications and distributed systems architecture Strong hands-on proficiency in Angular and TypeScript, complemented by solid knowledge of Java and Python, with deep understanding of object-oriented design patterns and functional programming Extensive experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and EventBridge, alongside Kubernetes containerization and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible Demonstrated expertise in Kafka and event-driven messaging technologies including SNS and SQS, along with strong command of relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Aurora, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Redis Solid background in data warehousing, data lakes, Delta Lake architectures, and distributed data processing technologies including PySpark and Apache Spark Strong experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub/GitLab, paired with a rigorous approach to testing strategies and complex analytical problem-solving
