Position Description: CGI is seeking an experienced Lead Salesforce Developer. In this role, you will lead development efforts to evaluate current state processes and define target state functional needs across the enterprise. You'll partner closely with business stakeholders and fellow developers to shape technical plans that support broader business goals, streamline end to end processes, and make the most of existing technology investments.
This position is required in one of the following locations: Lafayette, LA, Knoxville, TN, Birmingham, AL
Your future duties and responsibilities: This is a hands on leadership role - you'll be expected to guide project teams through the full software development lifecycle while directly contributing code and technical solutions. You'll help align IT initiatives with strategic business objectives and bring a consistent, repeatable methodology to how the enterprise approaches development work. Given the organization's cloud forward direction, familiarity with AWS based environments and modern integration patterns is highly valued.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 8+ years of relevant experience, including demonstrated experience leading development teams on projects of similar scope and complexity.
. Strong hands on experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering through deployment
. Deep knowledge of the programming languages, application servers, and database platforms relevant to the systems you're building
. Comfortable working across multiple languages and tech stacks to solve real business problems for internal stakeholders
. Background with enterprise development languages/tools such as Java, J2EE, EJB, C/C++, SQL, Visual Basic, or similar - legacy systems knowledge is a plus
. Experience with relational databases like Oracle or Sybase, plus messaging platforms such as MQ Series
. Exposure to cloud environments (AWS preferred) and modern integration approaches, given the client's cloud heavy infrastructure
. Proven track record leading development teams on projects of significant scope and complexity
. Strong communication skills - you'll need to work directly with business customers, not just other engineers
. Financial services industry experience is a plus, but not required
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $97,300.00 $138,600.00.
