Pacific Coast Producers | Full-Time | On-Site | Exempt
Schedule: 3:00pm-12:00am Monday to Friday. Must be available to work weekends as needed.
Salary Range: $82,500 to $110,000 per year based on experience.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead production lines, supervisors, and employees across our 1.5million sq ft distribution center's "labeling" department. You will be accountable for safety, quality, and throughput on your shift, develop your supervisors, and partner with maintenance, sanitation, shipping, and inventory control to keep operations running reliably throughout your shift.
You'll be responsible for:- Lead daily operations for your production area, keeping it safe, efficient, and properly staffed
- Coach and develop supervisors and frontline employees; set clear expectations and hold people accountable
- Execute daily, weekly, and long-range production plans with the Production Manager, adjusting labor, workflow, and resources as needs change
- Monitor throughput, downtime, quality, and cost data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions with cross-functional partners
- Champion safety and food safety, ensuring compliance with GMPs, sanitation requirements, SOPs, and regulatory standards
- Own accurate, timely documentation, including production records, investigations, incident reports, and loss/variance analysis
- Coordinate equipment changeovers, procedural updates, and line improvements driven by customer, maintenance, or site needs
- Serve as the key liaison between production leadership and frontline teams, and support broader facility initiatives
Minimum Job Qualifications- 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in production, distribution, or manufacturing
- Experience in high-volume operations, labor management, and workflow optimization
- Mechanical aptitude with labeling, casing, and line automation systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure while maintaining safety, quality, and accuracy
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills, with a record of building teams and accountability
- Available to work the swing shift (3:00pm to 12:00am) and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field (equivalent experience considered)
- Experience overseeing supervisors
- Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic controls
- Experience in a unionized environment
Salary Range: $82,500 - $110,000 (based on experience). This is a
full-time, on-site role based at our Distribution Center in Lodi, CA.
The base salary range reflects the reasonable expectation for what the company anticipates paying for this role at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on factors including, but not limited to:
