Position Overview

The Lead Product Manager partners closely with assigned product and business team members to define solutions that are in line with customer needs and business objectives. This position defines the roadmap and drives delivery of a product area or user journey. This position works with the business stakeholders, development teams, design and other cross functional teams to facilitate their product area roadmap, and drive the product development. The Lead Product Manager drives the business requirement gathering, understands the problem space to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and ultimately verify that the work generated by the development teams meets the stakeholders' requirements. The Lead Product Manager will support the product teams by participating in projects of high complexity. This position supports ensuring that business, user, and technology needs are met through continuous analysis, iteration, solutioning, and delivery. Post product deliver the position drives on market product lifecycle management activities to assure maintenance of product market fit and market success.

This position is based in our San Diego, CA office location.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Owns product strategy and delivery across multiple product areas or customer journeys, creating comprehensive product roadmaps that drive strategic objectives.
  • Leads service design efforts across touchpoints, utilizing roadmaps to guide strategic decision making and product innovation aligned with user needs and business outcomes.
  • Leads cross-functional teams in the development and execution of the business cases and roadmaps, engaging senior stakeholders to secure buy-in for goals, priorities, and execution plans.
  • Establishes measurable objectives and monitors performance to guide iteration and success.
  • Manages product scope and backlog across initiatives, balancing new development with on market product enhancements
  • Provides leadership and mentorship to elevate team capabilities and collaboration.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
  • 6+ years of experience leading product initiatives, such as managing multiple product areas, driving strategic initiatives, and influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Salary Range:

$138,000.00 - $208,000.00 (California salary range)

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - CA - San Diego on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible.
