Full Job Description
Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Work with Server, Consumer, Communication, and Industrial customers and respective marketing teams to define and support the development of Multiphase Controller IC's. Work with customers, both internal and external to Infineon, to create strong, clear definitions of product operation and product pin functionality. After the definition is complete work with the IC design team to implement the definition, validate the silicon and work on the initial customer design-in
  • Perform system level simulation for new Multiphase controller IC concepts and designs
  • Work with internal development teams to define the Multiphase controller IC architecture and control method (COT, VM, CM), and toverify application target requirements
  • Specify the VR design for AI and Server applications including the external components (L's and C's) so the controller can be adequately designed and verified
  • Gain customer and application knowledge and understand device usage in the end-application through regular customer visits
  • Benchmark competitor's products and generation of promotional material and collaterals (test reports, application notes, white papers)for product promotion
  • Provide second-level support for complex technical inquiries from customers. Drive problem solving by simulations, system evaluation and bench testing
  • Create go-to-market evaluation boards, datasheets, application notes and design tools for new products and support customer project design-in activities
  • Prototype Multiphase controller VR platforms, assist in the verification of the silicon. Creation of demo boards and collateral creation (DS,APP notes, FAE & customer product and VR training) and initial design-in responsibility for the new controllers
  • Provide advanced technical training to regional FAEs on how to use Infineon components to enhance the value of the end customer's products
  • Find a path forward when technical, personnel, and/or business issues arise
  • Propose and implement technical improvements to controller design, especially in the areas of control type, transient response, current balance, and other power performance areas of the controller
  • Engage in continuous learning about leading and working with others and pass relevant/key learnings to direct reports and line managers
  • Travel (Approximately 25% of the time) to provide on-site leadership and conversation
