Overview
This is an individual contributor role responsible for ensuring that products and services delivered to tolling clients meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. The Quality Lead sets and implements internal and external quality requirements, evaluates production and service processes, and works to ensure that customer expectations are consistently met. This role combines hands-on quality auditing with the development of preventive measures, driving continuous improvement across tolling program deliverables while ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards.
Responsibilities
Quality Strategy: - Develop and implement quality processes, procedures, and specifications tailored to tolling program requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of production and service processes to verify adherence to established quality policies.
- Evaluate client and customer requirements to ensure tolling program deliverables align with set customer service standards.
- Ensure operational processes comply with applicable program requirements.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance data across programs to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions in response to identified quality issues.
- Maintain detailed records of quality control operations, audits, and corrective actions.
Collaboration and Communication: - Collaborate with other departments and program teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues affecting tolling customers.
- Handle customer complaints related to quality and provide timely, effective solutions.
- Prepare and present quality reports and audit findings to upper management and relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate quality standards, expectations, and updates clearly to cross-functional teams supporting tolling programs.
Continuous Improvement: - Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and service quality across all tolling programs.
- Review and update quality control documentation regularly to reflect evolving standards and best practices.
- Proactively identify systemic quality risks and establish preventive measures before issues impact customers.

Qualifications
Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, ideally within a manufacturing, technology, or program-based environment.
- Familiarity with tolling, transportation, or related infrastructure industries is a plus.
Technical Skills: - Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality control software and tools.
- In-depth understanding of quality procedures and applicable legal/regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality control applications.
- Familiarity with statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
- Understanding of program-related processes and quality criteria across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Soft Skills: - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to build effective working relationships across departments and program teams without direct authority over staff.
