Lead Platform Engineer, Workday Functional (HCM)

General Responsibilities:
Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business
Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners
Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities
Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation
Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective
Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 6 years of experience with Workday functional configuration tasks
At least 4 years of experience configuring business processes within the Workday platform
At least 2 year of experience with calculated fields or custom reports
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
7+ years of experience with Workday functional configuration (Recruiting, Benefits, TM/PM)
Experience working in an agile delivery environment
Workday or Workday Pro certifications (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking or Performance Management)
2+ years of experience with Workday Security or Workday Reporting
1+ years of experience loading HCM data into Workday using existing Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100 for Lead Platform Engineer
Plano, TX: $149,800 - $171,000 for Lead Platform Engineer
Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000 for Lead Platform Engineer
San Francisco, CA: $179,700 - $205,100 for Lead Platform Engineer
San Jose, CA: $179,700 - $205,100 for Lead Platform Engineer
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
