Lead Mechanical Integrity Engineer: VIn this role, you will provide expert support for troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting failure analyses, and developing long-term strategies to enhance equipment performance. Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in LNG, upstream oil & gas, gas processing, refining, petrochemical, or related energy facilities
- Strong background in mechanical integrity, equipment reliability, and failure analysis
- Proficiency with pressure vessels, piping systems, valves, heat exchangers, fired equipment, and rotating machinery
- Knowledge of industry standards such as API and ASME, as well as RBI and fitness-for-service evaluations
- Experience supporting troubleshooting, root cause failure analyses, and integrity assessments
- Ability to develop and implement reliability improvement plans and manage technical issues effectively
Nice to Have Skills:- Experience with HRSGs and steam turbines
- Familiarity with Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) programs
- Prior experience in leading turnaround planning and execution
- Knowledge of Maintenance of Change (MOC) procedures and incident investigations
Preferred Education and Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Over 8 years of relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated success in converting failure data into actionable improvements
- Onsite operations experience is required, with flexibility for local or non-local candidates (a $2,000/month living allowance available for non-locals)
Other Requirements:- Must be able to support on-site operations in Sabine Pass, TX
- Willingness to participate in troubleshooting and reliability initiatives, including outages and turnaround events
