LeadMechanical Engineer who will design, build, create drawings for and assemble cable harnesses and connector assemblies.
Lead Mechanical Engineer Job Responsibilities: - Work with in-house Machinists and outside vendors to source components for production
- Project Management from conception to completion
- Design and build connector and cable harness manufacturing processes
- Work side-by-side with assembly technicians and members of quality in the assembly of connector and harness assemblies
- Effectively communicate with customers and vendors throughout the duration of the manufacturing process
Lead Mechanical Engineer Job Requirements: - Desire to work on both: conceptual engineering and hands-on product development
- SolidWorks experience: models, assembly, and drawings required. Desired: configurations
- Capability to learn about new subjects
- Thrives in an environment of constant change and evolution
- Working Knowledge of Harness and connector assembly
- Effective problem solver, with the ability to utilize analytical techniques for issue resolution
- Ability to develop and communicate assembly instructions verbally and the written word
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering
