Full Job Description
About the Role

The Lead Materials Coordinator owns the parts supply chain and inventory operations across Moove's multi-market AV depot network, including Phoenix, Miami, and emerging markets. This role leads a distributed team of up to three Material Coordinators (one per market), including third-party vendor-employed coordinators embedded in Moove depots. The role drives standardization of materials processes across the network and ensures uninterrupted parts availability to sustain fleet uptime targets. Based in Phoenix and traveling to active and emerging markets, the ideal candidate is a hands-on operator with multi-site supply chain leadership experience, strong systems thinking, and the discipline to build a scalable materials operating model across both internal and outsourced staffing models.
What you'll be doing
  • Lead, hire, and develop a team of up to three Material Coordinators across active and emerging markets, including direct Moove employees and third-party vendor-employed coordinators, driving consistent execution and accountability across every depot
  • Manage third-party staffing partners that employ embedded Material Coordinators; enforce SLAs, performance standards, and process compliance
  • Build and standardize the materials operating model (processes, KPIs, inventory policies, and SOPs) across active and emerging markets and across both insourced and outsourced staffing models
  • Own end-to-end parts supply chain performance: inventory accuracy, on-time availability, supplier reliability, and total parts cost
  • Partner with maintenance leadership, depot GMs, and Procurement to align parts availability with throughput and uptime targets
  • Manage strategic vendor and OEM relationships; enforce SLAs and contractual performance standards
  • Forecast demand across markets; maintain optimal stock levels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory and obsolescence
  • Deploy parts tracking systems (ERP, internal tooling) and ensure real-time inventory visibility across all sites
  • Lead materials launch readiness for new markets, including coordinator hiring (direct or vendor-staffed), vendor onboarding, stocking plans, and depot setup
  • Standardize hazardous materials storage, handling, and disposal compliance across all depots
  • Define KPIs, build dashboards, and report performance to leadership and executive stakeholders
What you'll need
  • 8+ years in supply chain, materials management, or fleet logistics; multi-site leadership experience required
  • Demonstrated experience leading both direct reports and third-party vendor staff to a unified standard of performance
  • Strong background in technical and automotive parts; AV, EV, or high-voltage component experience a plus
  • Proven track record building scalable inventory systems and standardizing operations across geographies
  • Direct experience managing distributed teams and remote-site coordinators
  • ERP and inventory software fluency (SAP, NetSuite, Fishbowl, or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and financial discipline; comfort owning cost lines and working capital
  • Ability to operate in a high-growth, ambiguous environment with executive visibility
  • Authorized to work and reside in the United States
  • Travel: 25%+ across active and emerging markets
