MAJOR PURPOSE:

The Lead, Marketing is responsible for driving innovation of advanced paid media strategies that deliver measurable performance. The Lead, Marketing plays a critical role in the marketing pod, ensuring partner and company success, leading the development of audience-first marketing strategies, flawless campaign execution, and sophisticated testing plans. The Marketing Lead will be responsible for coaching and guiding Analysts to success. The position requires an individual who is business savvy to understand and advance partner marketing goals, a technical mind with the attention to detail, patience to troubleshoot within the latest ad tech platforms, and a desire to help lead a team making a big impact in the marketing industry.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The Lead, Marketing will have 1-3 Marketing direct reports to provide support, guidance, and coaching.
  • Partner with partners and internal teams to develop robust multi-channel media strategies and campaigns.
  • Advanced knowledge in creating and managing campaigns within native platforms including Google Ads, Display & Video 360, Search Ads 360, Campaign Manager, Meta and more.
  • Media vendor vetting and implementation.
  • Lead partner engagement for assigned accounts.
  • Lead the data storytelling for partner presentation decks.
  • Identify and execute media tests and continued innovation.
  • Work with the Analytics team to track media performance and make optimizations.
  • Contribute to fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team-based environment


Requirements

CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:
  • College degree in marketing, business or a related field or equivalent related experience.
  • 4-6+ years prior experience in a role requiring similar skill sets.
  • Ability to lead.
  • Google Ads certifications.
  • High proficiency managing campaigns within native platforms including Google Ads, Display & Video 360, Search Ads 360, Campaign Manager, Meta and more.
  • Experience in storytelling through presentation decks.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, determine task priorities and follow-through.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior organization, project, and personnel management skills.
  • Google Workspace proficiency.
  • MAC proficiency.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • 4-5 years relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a relevant field preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Periods sitting at a desk and monitoring computer (we have ergonomic sit stand desks).
