DescriptionThe Engineering Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for bridging technical execution with localized revenue growth. This position will oversee facility projects designed to optimize operations and drive profitability. This position requires a proactive leader who thrives in collaborative environments, representing the engineering department at both onsite and offsite corporate meetings to influence business-critical decisions and project scaling. The Engineering Manager will report directly to the Director of Engineering and will lead a team of direct reports.
What you will be responsible for:- Attend and contribute to onsite and offsite corporate meetings, ensuring engineering facility projects are aligned with the company's strategic vision and revenue goals.
- Lead the planning and execution of facility-based engineering projects, focusing on infrastructure improvements that directly enhance operations throughout.
- Take ownership of engineering initiatives specifically targeted to generate or support 3-5 percent in annual revenue growth.
- Provide direct supervision and mentorship to a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders during facility upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing business operations.
- Manage project budgets and resource allocation to ensure facility improvements are delivered on time and within financial parameters
Qualifications What you will need to be successful in this role: - Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or related field).
- Minimum Five years of engineering experience, including a minimum of eighteen months in a supervisory or lead role.
- Proven track record of managing projects or initiatives that have contributed to revenue targets
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate technical facility requirements into business outcomes during corporate off sites
- Ability to travel to various facility locations both local and abroad as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to manage facility projects that balance technical constraints with aggressive growth timelines.
